Ask us directly
What does it mean to hire an embedded AI engineer?+

An embedded engineer works within your product and engineering routines rather than delivering a separate black-box project. Scope, access, reporting, working hours, and ownership are agreed during onboarding.

Which roles can Axie help us hire?+

Axie focuses on Forward Deployed Engineers, Data Engineers, Applied AI Engineers, and Agentic AI Engineers. Tell us the outcomes you need rather than just a list of tools.

Do we manage the engineer or does Axie run the project?+

For embedded engagements, your technical lead owns the priorities and day-to-day engineering direction. Axie supports recruiting, coordination, and agreed workforce administration. Exact responsibilities are written into the engagement agreement.

Is this staff augmentation or outsourced project development?+

Our primary offer is dedicated engineering talent integrated with your team. We can discuss targeted technical delivery when relevant, but the main operating model is not a separate outsourced software project.

How fast can we hire?+

Timelines depend on role seniority, geography, assessment requirements, interviews, and candidate availability. Axie will define an estimated search and onboarding plan during discovery rather than promise a universal timeline.

How does pricing work?+

Engagement pricing depends on role, seniority, time-zone coverage, duration, and the agreed employment or contracting structure. Request a tailored quote with the scope and commercial inclusions clearly documented.

Who manages day-to-day engineering work?+

In an embedded engagement, the client engineering lead owns priorities, reviews, and the technical roadmap. Axie and the client document any additional support responsibilities in the agreement.

Can we interview candidates before selecting someone?+

Candidate selection and client interview expectations are discussed during the role-scoping process. The goal is to validate both technical fit and working style.

What happens if our priorities change?+

Change management depends on the agreed engagement terms. Discuss material scope changes, role seniority, working hours, and offboarding explicitly before work begins.

Is intellectual property ownership covered?+

IP assignment, confidentiality, data handling, and access obligations should be documented in the signed commercial agreement, subject to legal review.

Do you offer dedicated engineers or project delivery?+

Our primary model is dedicated engineers working within the customer’s existing engineering organization. Other delivery structures may be explored case by case.

Are services provided through an employer-of-record or a contractor arrangement?+

The specific legal and commercial arrangement depends on staffing geography, client needs, and the signed agreement. Employer responsibilities and local compliance are confirmed in writing before any engagement begins.

Can Axie complete a vendor onboarding questionnaire?+

Use the contact page to request a supplier-information discussion. Required answers depend on the purchasing organization, the contract, and supporting records.

Can you share a W-9, insurance, or security documentation?+

Yes, on request. Contact us with your requirements and an authorized Axie representative will provide the applicable documents.
